PHARMACEUTICALSKLAD.RF - an online pharmacy with a physical location in the city center (Lenina, 22). The company offers a catalog of more than 10,000 medicines and health products. Key advantages are convenient search by name and purpose, regular promotions and discounts, fast delivery throughout the city, consultations with pharmacists. The pharmacy works with prescription and over-the-counter drugs, dietary supplements, vitamins, medical products and care cosmetics.

About the project and tasks

The project was the launch of a completely new digital ecosystem for a physical pharmacy - a website and a mobile application. It was necessary to create a convenient storefront with a catalog of 10,000+ products, implement a quick search by names and indications, integrate a delivery and order management system, and also create an application for the convenience of regular customers. Both channels had to work synchronously so that the customer could start the order in the app and finish on the website, or vice versa.

At the site prototyping stage, we designed multi-level filtering of the catalog - by category (diseases and symptoms, manufacturers, price, release form), quick search with auto-completion, a personal account with a history of orders and saved addresses, an ordering system with a choice of delivery and payment. The prototype included a section for promotions and discounts, the ability to use promotional codes and pharmacist consultations via chat. It was important to design a classic catalog structure on the left and products on the right for easy navigation on the desktop.

The site design was built around the idea of ​​simplicity and reliability. The visual system uses traditional medical colors - red and white, which evoke an association with a pharmacy and trust. The typography is readable and large, high-quality photographs of medicines occupy a significant part, the hierarchy of information (name, dosage, price) is clear at first glance. Action buttons are contrasting and visible. Each page of the catalog is intuitive - filters on the left, products in the center, cart on the right.

The site is developed on Bitrix as a fully functional online pharmacy. We implemented a catalog with filtering by category, manufacturer, price and release form. We integrated a quick search with auto-completion by drug names and the ability to search by indication - if a client searches for “cough”, the system will show all cough remedies. We created a personal account with a history of orders, saved recipes and delivery addresses. We connected an ordering system with a choice of address, delivery method (pickup, local delivery) and payment (card, cash on delivery). We added promotional codes and a loyalty program. Integrated pharmacist consultations via built-in chat. Optimized the speed of catalog loading and search for user convenience.

Application

At the mobile application prototyping stage, we designed an interface optimized for quick search and one-handed ordering. The prototype included tabs for the main page (recommendations and promotions), search, catalog, personal account and cart. We added a search function by voice for convenience. We designed a quick repeat of an order from history and synchronization with the web version - the cart and personal account are synchronized between the site and the application. We enabled push notifications about delivery status and new promotions.

The app design uses the same visual system as the website, but is adapted for mobile screens. The interface is minimalistic and fast - large buttons, simplified navigation through the tabs at the bottom (search, catalog, account, basket), large photos of drugs. The color palette is the same - red and white. All information (name, dosage, price, availability) is visible in one click. The design of the application prioritizes speed - a person can order a drug in 3-4 taps.

The mobile application is developed in Flutter for iOS and Android. We implemented all the functions of the site, but optimized for mobile devices. Added voice search - the client can say the name of the drug and the application will find it. We created a quick order history with a one-click re-order function (the same drugs are often needed). We synchronized the cart and personal account between the application and the website - the client can start an order in the application and finish on the website, or vice versa. We integrated push notifications about delivery status, discounts and new promotions. We optimized the application in terms of memory and battery - it loads quickly and does not “eat” the Internet.

Results and review

The result is a complete digital ecosystem for the pharmacy. The site demonstrates the entire catalog and is convenient for systematically searching for the necessary drugs on the desktop. The app is optimized for quick re-ordering, voice search and delivery notifications. Both channels are synchronous - data, cart and order history are synchronized in real time. Customers can search for a medicine by name or symptom, quickly place an order, get advice from a pharmacist and track delivery. For the pharmacy, this means an increase in online orders, better control over the assortment and the ability to carry out precise promotions for regular customers.
