DELTA

DELTA is a young professional airsoft team founded in March 2022 by experienced Moscow players. The team is distinguished by an idea without unnecessary bureaucracy: no training, marching and other routine, only active play at a professional level. DELTA participates in tournaments of major organizers such as Strateg, PrivatkaClub, BORGAME, 5U, and plays all year round without closing the season. The team is equipped with two assault shields, five thermal imagers and two night vision devices. The average age of team members is 27 years old, and they have their own professional videographer and photographer.

About the project and tasks

The goal was to create a website for an airsoft team that would serve as both a recruiting platform, a showcase for the team, and an information base for potential members. The site had to show the strength of the team, its achievements and equipment, as well as clearly explain the requirements and the joining process. It was important to reflect the youthful, informal style of the team in the design and tone of communication.

Work process

Prototype

When developing the prototype, we focused on the main goal - attracting new team members and demonstrating its coolness. The prototype begins with a heroic video of the team in the game with the slogan “While you lie down, we fuck,” which immediately sets the tone. Next is a section about the team with information about history, philosophy (no bureaucracy, just the game) and characteristics (participation in tournaments, equipment, average age, videographer). The “Requirements” section shows what you need to join: age 18+, certain camouflage and weapons. A detailed kit list with interactive cards shows each piece of equipment, photo, brand and color. A photo gallery shows the team in action. Embedded YouTube videos show games and team highlights. Contacts and links to social networks are accessible.

Work process

Design

The design was built around the idea of ​​youthful energy and professionalism. The visual system uses dark tones, contrasting colors, and a minimalistic but stylish interface. Weapon and equipment icons create a sense of seriousness. Each section has a visual designation. The kit list is designed as interactive cards with photographs of equipment, which makes the information visually attractive. The tone of communication on the site reflects the informal style of the team - straightforward, honest, with humor. On mobile devices, the design remains intuitive and fast, with large buttons for contacting the commander and joining the team.

Work process

Development

The site is developed on the Tilda platform with functionality for demonstration and recruiting. Implemented a home page with a heroic team video and quick access to sections. A section “About the team” has been created with information about history (founded March 2022), philosophy (no training, just a game), and characteristics (participation in Strategist, PrivatkaClub, BORGAME, 5U tournaments; year-round play; equipment from assault shields, thermal imagers, night vision devices; average age 27 years; own videographer and photographer). A “Requirements” section has been developed with information about age restrictions, required camouflage (MultiCam, Black, Navy Blue), weapons used (AK, AR-15, MP), experience (optional). A detailed interactive kit list has been created, divided into categories: “On the head” (helmet, case, glasses, balaclava), “On the body” (jumper, combat shirt, pants, knee pads, gloves), “SIBZ” (body armor) and “On the feet” (shoes). Each item contains a photo, name, color options and preferences. Added an interactive gallery of team photos. Videos from the team's YouTube channel are embedded to showcase games and highlights. A form for contacting the commander and a “Join Team” button have been implemented. The site contains all social contacts: VK, YouTube, Telegram, with quick access from different places. The site is fully adapted for mobile devices.

Results and review

As a result, DELTA received a stylish, functional website that functions as a powerful recruiting tool. Potential candidates now see all the information about the team, its requirements and equipment in one place. A detailed kit list answered the main question of beginners - “What do I need to buy?” Interactive elements and YouTube videos make the site dynamic and inspiring. Links to social networks have simplified communication with interested players. The informal tone and energetic design attracted the attention of a younger audience. The site has greatly simplified the recruiting process, reducing the number of repetitive questions and speeding up the integration of new team members.
