Dashali

DASHALI is an original design studio specializing in the creation and sewing of exclusive dresses and suits. The studio works in two directions: a ready-made collection (wedding dresses, evening dresses, jackets, corsets, bodysuits, trousers, skirts) and an atelier service for sewing products according to customer orders. The studio team is ready for long-term projects and collaborations, working with Russian and international clients. The customer base includes brides, businesswomen and people looking for unique handcrafted items.

About the project and tasks

The task was to create a stylish, functional website for a design studio, which would simultaneously work as a showcase of the finished collection, an online store and a portal for ordering the studio’s services. The website had to reflect the premium positioning of the studio, show the quality and exclusivity of the work, and facilitate the process of ordering both ready-made dresses and custom products. It was important to create an English-Russian version of the site to work with an international audience.

Work process

Prototype

When developing the prototype, we focused on the main thing - to show the beauty of the finished dresses and facilitate the process of purchasing them, as well as make visible the availability of atelier services. The prototype begins with a bright home page with large photographs of the studio's best work and a “SHOP NOW” button. The catalog is organized by categories: wedding dresses, evening dresses, jackets, corsets, bodysuits, trousers, skirts. Each product has a photo, name, description and price. The favorites system allows customers to save their favorite items. The integration of cart and checkout is minimal and elegant. The atelier section explains the custom tailoring service, shows examples of work and provides information about the timing and process. The portfolio showcases the studio's best projects. The about us section tells the history and philosophy of the studio. Contacts contain all communication methods: phone, telegram, whatsapp, instagram, email. Bilingualism is implemented at the level of the entire site.

Work process

Design

The design was built around the idea of ​​premium, minimalism and elegance. This is a website for a high-fashion brand, so the design is appropriate: a lot of white space, large typography, a minimum of text, a maximum of beautiful photographs. Each dress is the main character, and everything else is a supporting element. The color palette is neutral with accents. Navigation is intuitive and minimalistic. On mobile devices, the design remains elegant and convenient - large photos, clear buttons, quick access to the catalog and contacts.

Work process

Development

The site is developed on a platform that supports a fully functional online store. A home page has been implemented with a gallery of the studio's best works and quick access to the catalog. A fully functional product catalog has been created, divided into 7 categories: wedding dresses, evening dresses, jackets, corsets, bodysuits, trousers, skirts. Each product contains a gallery of photographs from different angles, name, description, dimensions and price. A favorites system has been implemented that allows customers to save things they like and quickly find them. A fully functional shopping cart has been integrated with the ability to edit quantity, discounts and place an order in several steps. An atelier section has been developed with information about tailoring services, pricing, timing and the process of ordering a custom product. A portfolio section has been added with photographs of finished works, sorted by type and project. The “About Us” section tells the history of the studio, its philosophy and achievements. The contacts section contains complete information: phone, telegram, whatsapp, instagram, email. The site is fully bilingual in Russian and English. Each page, category, and product description have English-language counterparts. There is a language switcher in the header and footer of the site. The site is optimized for mobile devices and search engines.

Results and review

As a result, DASHALI received a stylish, functional website that works simultaneously as a showcase of a premium brand and an operating online store. Customers can easily find the dress they like in the catalog, add it to favorites, add it to the cart and place an order in a few clicks. The tailoring section has attracted new customers looking for custom tailoring and alteration services. Bilingualism opened up access to an international audience and simplified work with foreign clients. Integration with the online store made it possible to automate the accounting of orders and requests. Premium website design matches the brand positioning and attracts the target audience. Links to social networks (Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp) simplified communication and allowed clients to choose a convenient communication channel. As a result, the site became an active sales channel and led to an increase in orders for both ready-made dresses and atelier services.
