Description
The website was created for the Meltie candle brand with an already formed assortment and several product lines. It was necessary to collect the catalog, product cards, information about delivery and ordering in one system, while maintaining the character of the brand and its visual presentation. The project was built as a full-fledged e-commerce site, where the catalog structure, ease of purchase, and how the product itself looks in the digital environment are important.

Tasks
- 1
Combine a brand presentation and a full-fledged e-commerce script in one website
- 2
Build a clear catalog structure for several product lines
- 3
Make product selection quick thanks to clear navigation and convenient cards
- 4
Create a clear path from getting to know the product to placing an order
- 5
Preserve the visual character of the brand without overloading the interface
- 6
Move service sections - care, delivery and payment, FAQ and cooperation - into a separate, understandable system
Work process
Prototype
Prototype development
Prototyping focused on the store structure and user purchasing scenario. We have determined the composition of the main pages, the logic of the catalog, product cards and service sections - from categories and FAQ to delivery and payment. At this stage, it was important to collect a clear basis, on which the visual style of the project was then superimposed.

Design
Design development
At the design stage, we assembled the visual system of the site around the product itself - packaging, names, categories and the general presentation of the brand. It was important to preserve the character of Meltie, not to overload the interface, and at the same time make the catalog, product cards and service pages easy to read. Therefore, the design was based on a balance between expressive product presentation and a clear e-commerce structure.

Development
Layout and development
After agreeing on the structure and design, we assembled the site on Tilda and transferred the catalog, product cards and main e-commerce scenarios to the working format. It was important to maintain the visual character of Meltie during assembly, not to lose ease of navigation through the assortment, and to carefully implement the user path from viewing products to placing an order. Special attention was paid to adaptability, stable operation of the site and correct display of content on different devices.

Results and review
