FULL SHELF is a large supplier of food products for the catering industry, working with restaurants, cafes, hotels and catering companies. The company is developing a network of 20 regional warehouses and serves more than 100 partners throughout the country. The assortment includes more than 500 items: semi-finished meat products, sauces, frozen foods, drinks, fish products, disposable tableware and much more. In addition to supplies, the company produces goods according to individual customer requirements - semi-finished products, sauces, meat products on its own production lines.

Description
The task was to create a B2B portal for a wholesale company that would simplify the interaction between customers and suppliers, making the process of selecting goods, placing orders and managing purchases more convenient. The site had to demonstrate reliability, professionalism and breadth of assortment, as well as facilitate the work of managers and clients through a functional online catalogue.

When developing the prototype, we focused on the main task of the B2B portal - to minimize the time for searching for a product and placing an order. The prototype begins with the main page, which immediately shows the companyβs key advantages: wide range, fast delivery, quality control, individual approach. A functional catalog with many filters allows customers to quickly find the desired product by category, parameters or name. Each product has a detailed description, specifications, prices and an add to cart or favorites button. The favorites system allows you to save frequently ordered products. The section about the company demonstrates production capabilities, scale of operations (20 warehouses, 100+ partners, 10,000+ orders annually). We show who the company supplies to (restaurants, cafes, confectionery shops, hotels) and what we produce according to individual requirements. Information for contacting managers is available at the reception desk. A call back form and contact information are available on every page.

Design development
The design was based on the principles of professionalism, reliability and convenience. The visual system is focused on the fact that site users are business clients who value speed and functionality. White background, clean lines, a minimum of unnecessary decorations, but a lot of information and clear icons for quick navigation. Each section has a visual designation - icons of product categories, icons of benefits. The color palette is neutral and strict, which reflects the serious B2B nature. On mobile devices, the design remains functional and intuitive - large buttons, easy access to the cart and favorites, quick search.

Layout and development
The site was developed on the Tilda platform with the functionality of a B2B portal. A home page with a video overview of production and quick access to the catalog has been implemented. A fully functional product catalog has been created with filtering in 7+ categories: disposable tableware, groceries, sauces, semi-finished meat products, oil and fat group, drinks, meat gastronomy, fish products, dumplings and dumplings, portioned products. Each product contains a photo, name, description, specifications, price and add to cart or favorites functionality. An integrated cart management and ordering system with a calculation function based on volume and price. A favorites system has been developed that allows customers to save frequently ordered items for quick re-ordering. A section has been created with information about the company, which demonstrates the scale (20 regional warehouses, 100+ partners, 500+ positions, 10,000+ orders annually). Information has been added about the company's production capabilities - we produce goods to meet unique customer requirements on specialized lines. The customer segments to which we supply are shown: restaurants, cafes, confectionery shops, bakeries, hotels, catering companies. The function of quick contact with managers has been implemented through a callback form with a telephone, name, email and comment field. All pages contain contact information: telephone, email, production and warehouse addresses. The site is optimized for mobile devices, loads quickly and is optimized for search engines.
Results and review
Results
As a result, Polka Polka received a functional B2B portal, which significantly simplified interaction with clients. Customers can now find products on their own, compare prices, add to favorites and place an order without calling the manager. The favorites system has speeded up the repeat order process for regular customers. A detailed catalog with filtering reduced the time spent on consulting managers. Information about manufacturing capabilities helps customers understand that a company can produce products to meet their unique requirements. Demonstration of the scale of the company (20 warehouses, 100+ partners) creates trust and shows the reliability of the supplier. A functional B2B portal led to an increase in direct online orders and reduced the time for incoming calls with simple questions about product availability.
